3 Important Aspects of A Low Back Guide

Posted by Brandon Buchla on

So you're looking for a low back guide? There are plenty of them out there and you want to make sure you're investing in something that is actually going to help! Here are 3 key aspects of a great guide:

  1. Legitimate Authors
    1. You want to gauge whether you can trust the source. Are they someone who frequently treats all aspects of this condition (sprain/strains, herniations, stenosis, etc) or just someone who experienced a painful episode once? Are they a professional? Not all opinions should be weighed evenly! Find author(s) who have legitimacy.
  2. Seek to Teach Rather Than Tell
    1. Understanding why you're doing something is just as important as actually doing it. You don't just want a list of to-dos, you want a true guide that seeks to teach the reasoning behind everything as you pursue your journey.
  3. Thorough
    1. The worst types of "guides" are just singularly-focused lists. You want something that takes into account and discusses various circumstances and comes from multiple perspectives.
